You Are the Path Imagine yourself listened to so deeply that your own listening starts to shift, and you begin to feel the sources of your words inside yourself. This listening is also feeling. Imagine a dialog growing out of that listening, in which the most crucial and important threads of you are acknowledged, become apparent and known by you, and are felt. Imagine a sense of respect for your own life, and where it has taken you - to your life and situation now - and then a recognition that your life is your own wisdom generously unfolding. ![]()
Imagine the opening of this connection with yourself
(because you can feel you are not alone, you can feel someone else
there with you) into the places in you that are frozen; in pain and
fear, in shame and grief. Into the places you had to abandon because
it was too overwhelming and dreadful, once upon a time, to be there
alone with them. And now you are not alone there with them. You can
feel that now. You can be there with those places and those feelings. |

It's just not possible. Imagine a sense of connectedness you can feel: with yourself, because you feel accepted, and with the other, because there's a steady sense of acceptance flowing from them. And imagine that same connectedness having a palpable emotional quality to it, able to be felt by you because you can feel yourself - and you can feel the other feeling you. ![]() |
